Xiaomi Mi Note 2 leaked render hints at dual-camera setup and curved display



Xiaomi's much anticipated Mi Note 2 is being rumored to launch very soon. The new render that has surfaced online confirms previous rumors that the smartphone will come with curved display. It also reveals the Mi Mote 2 will have a dual-camera setup.Last week an image of what is said to be the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 leaked, showing off the front panel of the device. This leaked panel hinted at a dual-edged curved display, just like the Samsung Galaxy Note7. Now an alleged render of the upcoming device has surfaced online that again hints at a curved display as well as a dual-camera setup.


The Mi Note 2 render shows a design that is not a lot different than the Mi 5. The front has a curved glass display along with a rectangular home button. The render also shows the speakers located at the bottom of the phone along with a USB Type-C port. The back of the phone has a glass body,  and the highlight is camera setup at the back that includes two camera lenses along with a dual-tone flash at the top left corner.

Based on what we know so far, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will flaunt a 5.7-inch QHD display. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 821 processor, and is expected to come in three variants — 32GB (4GB RAM), 64GB (6GB RAM), and 128GB (6GB RAM).
The phablet is also expected to feature a 12-megapixel rear dual camera. It will be equipped with a 4,000mAh or 3700mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. Connectivity options will include ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, NFC and 4G support.
